PHOENIX (March 30, 2010) – Tonto National forest recreation specialists announced today that the Goldfield, Coon’s Bluff, Phon D Sutton and Granite Reef day-use recreation areas on the Lower Salt River will begin temporary closures on April 12 until May 18, due to construction projects scheduled during this spring. For safety purposes, site closures will prohibit both vehicle and foot traffic within the entire site while demolition and construction activites take place.
